I’d like to express my gratitude to you for helping me with my anxiety through our therapy sessions.
Since never experiencing anxiety in my 33 years of life, or perhaps at least not to the extent that I’ve experienced it earlier this year, this was a new and at times, a terrifying trial for me in life. I had no idea what to expect, how to mitigate anxiety and I was so naive before. Naive in many ways: thinking that “antidepressants alone will do the trick,” the awful ways that society makes us shamefully feel for “seeing a shrink” and just overall naive for not understanding — and underestimating — how serious mental illness is.
Not only have you helped me, but you changed my perspective on so many levels.
Through our therapy sessions, you helped me uncover the root causes to my stressors and anxiety, how to better control and get out of my state of anxiety, and just helping me to be more relaxed in life.
